Steve Nichols where are you?

Everyone, and I mean everyone (except me and Trueman) are swaning it at T4G. Some of us have to work. But Steve Nichols has yet to sign in to this blog. Now I see why. Apart from the fact that the site is still experiencing some trouble (only after T4G will we be able to bring our techies down from the mountain), I now see where Nichols is: writing a book about baseball! zzzzzzz.
Well, not exactly. It's a book about Jesus who (according to the blurb on the back of the book) is as American as baseball. The book is called Jesus: Made in America and published by IVP. I'm going to dip into it on my way to Grand Rapids PCRT tomorrow, but I think I will have to leave my WWJD bracelet at home for this trip. Nichols slams them in the Intorduction. Such sleeve-wearing devotion may be cool but ignorant when it comes to defining who Jesus actually is.
