I've been "in class" all day, and my English friend obviously needs some education on the significance of St. David, who bravely fought against Pelagianism in the sixth century. He was a superb rugby player, triumphing in the notorious win at Cardiff Arms park in A.D. 580. Speaking of rugby, I believe the Irish (Patrick was also Welsh, see here) were triumphant last Saturday against England by a whopping 43-13. Have to get back to the Eisteddfod and the cultural celebrations.
