Please be in prayer for Dr. Al Mohler of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He will be undergoing surgery to remove a tumor from his colon. Dr. Mohler has been used greatly by God to help raise up a generation of young ministers who are committed to God and His Word. The remarkable transformation of Southern from a liberal to a conservative, confessional seminary is one of the great stories of Baptist life during the 20th century. It was Dr. Mohler who, at great personal cost, led that transformation when he became the seminary’s president in 1993. He was slandered and threatened during those early years.
