On Sunday morning I plan to preach on Christ as a compassionate High Priest from the words of Hebrews 4:14-15. As I put the final touches on that sermon, I was reading a commentary where I came across a beautiful hymn that I had never heard before. Here are the words:

He's a friend beyond compare;
Meet Him at the throne of mercy,
He is waiting for you there.
