Right Jabs and Left Hooks
Posted by
There is a new book coming out in October, Left, Right and Christ, co-authored by Lisa Sharon Harper and D C Innes. Lisa works with Sojourners and David lectures at The King's College, New York, and is an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
I have had the privilege of seeing an advance copy and can report that this is a book which is fun, at times combative, stimulating and very informative, as two Christians with different political perspectives engage each other in a respectful but -no-holds-barred contest. Who wins? Is it by points, KO or TKO? Let the reader decide.
A small foretaste of the discussion can be found on Youtube here. And, if they are reading this, I do hope to coax them both to Philadelphia to debate the issues before a live audience sometime, somewhere.
