  Two new books worth noting: the first, Sinclair Ferguson and Mark Dever write fascinating articles on the theme of puritan preaching, drawing from the instruction offered in Westminster Dircetory for Public Worship (1645). Westminster Directory of Public Worship Discussedby Mark Dever and Sinclair Ferguson (Christian Focus Publications).



dever_1.jpgAnother, Enagaging with Barth: Contemporary Evangelical Critiques, edited by David Gibson and Daniel Strange includes fascinating essays by, among others, Donald MacLeod and Paul Helm. We will review both of these later, but you might want to check these out for yourselves.
