Wake up America, before it's too late!!

Well, I too have enjoyed Mississippi. Most interesting was the comparison of ringtones on my cellphone with that of Del.  I have the climax of The Who's `Won't get fooled again,'  Del has `Ride of the Valkyries.'   Now, who do you think suffers from the most serious delusions of grandeur??? I also heard a fun commercial for pizza on the radio: `Soul Food Pizza: It's all about YOU!  Come to our restaurant and design the pizza for your lifestyle, that says the kind of person you are.'   Very tempting to take Del out to this place and see what sort of pizza is all about HIM, designed for HIS lifestyle.  I'm guessing no garlic, but extra leeks and sauerkraut.

But, seriously -- in a culture well known for its endearing, playful and self-deprecating sense of irony -- ahem -- I assume this is a serious sales pitch.  So now we even have pizza that fits YOUR lifestyle.  Not that we are getting self-obsessed, trivial or anything.....  Wake up, America!  If conservative Christians are ever going to reclaim this great nation, we need to smash this idolatrous approach to pizza before they come for the kids and the defenceless old folks!  My friends tell me it would never have happened if Bill Clinton had not been elected to a second term.

Still, most impressive fact of the week: Del had never heard of Anna Nicole Smith until last week. So I guess he stands no chance of inheriting the millions; or of connecting with anyone under the age of 45.....
