Twin Lakes Fellowship for 2007

Posted by

The seventh annual gathering of the Twin Lakes Fellowship™ is slated for April 10-12, 2007. Interest in the Fellowship continues to grow and space is limited, but we thought ref21 readers might want to know some of those who are speaking and coming to the TLF this year.

Doug Kelly (Jordan Professor of Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC) will be back again to preach the first sermon, a much anticipated tradition of the TLF. We will also hear from several others including: Peter Jones, founder and executive director of Christian Witness to a Pagan Planet and Scholar in Residence at Westminster Seminary California; Thabiti Anyabwile, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; David Robertson, Senior Pastor of St. Peter’s Free Church, Dundee, Scotland; Brian Habig, Senior Pastor of Downtown Presbyterian Church, Greenville, SC; and Derek Thomas, Minister of Teaching at First Presbyterian Church and Professor of Practical and Systematic Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary. We’ll also have plenty of free literature as well as books and resources available for purchase (cash or check only). New this year, the Reformed uberblogger Tim Challies of Challies.com will be live blogging.

Over the last few years, we have heard comments such as, “I believe I have found a place to belong and to continue to be encouraged to forge ahead for the glory of God and His kingdom.” “This meeting has become almost a necessity for me—one oasis I can count on every year. It is so good to be with missionaries, church planters, and other ministers and elders who are of like mind and are committed to the spread of the gospel.” “God has used the 48 hours of biblical, fraternal, and doxological fellowship at Twin Lakes Fellowship to galvanize my conviction in the ordinary means of grace.” “I came expecting a Salisbury steak and instead, was served a top sirloin!”
