Another Embarrassment

I just saw that this week's TIME magazine cover story is on the Health and Wealth Gospel.  Of course, it makes it look like this is what evangelicalism is all about.  But we deserve it.  In my view, whenever we see the gross abuses of Christians exposed by the secular media, it means that we have failed in our duty to stand against it within the church.  This cover story reminds us that this is a huge problem that is greatly hindering the gospel.  It is even worse in places like Africa, where TBN is widely broadcast.  We need to speak out more boldly against this menace.
